Angelo Spata

Angelo "Little Angelo Spata is an associate of the Colombo Crime Family. He is a member of the Persico royal family because he is the son-in-law of Colombo boss Carmine Persico and brother-in-law to former Colombo acting boss Alphonse Persico and Colombo associate Michael Persico.

2011 Mob Round-up

In 2011, the FBI rounded up more than 100 alleged mobsters and numerous associates in all 5 families. Spata was one of the many family associates who were rounded up. He’s charged with wire fraud in connection with Feast of Santa Rosalia in Bensonhurst and illegal gambling.

This is Spata’s first arrest, and he faces about 20 months in prison.

In August 10, 2012 Spata refused prosecutors plea deal.

According to mob rat Anthony "Big Anthony" Russo, Spata was eagerly looking forward to becoming a made man in the crime family.

On January 28, 2014 Spata received a 15-month prison sentence for racketeering and gambling.
