I could also find no credible sources that indicate that someone named Carmine “Little Eli” Zeccardi ever served as underboss of the Genovese family. A much more likely scenario is that Gerardo Catena retired from active involvement in organized crime after being released from prison in 1975 and was succeeded as underboss by Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno. current Tags: Visual edit, Mobile edit
- 16:30, 24 January 2021 -116 Genovese crime family Frank Tieri was not promoted to front boss in 1974, he was promoted to front boss in 1972. He also couldn’t have simultaneously served as both underboss and front boss from 1972 and 1974 and even if he could’ve, it wouldn’t have made sense for him to simultaneously serve as both underboss and front boss and then step down as underboss but continue as front boss. I could also find no credible sources that say Carmine “Little Eli” Zeccardi ever served as underboss. Tags: Visual edit, Mobile edit
